SilentFiber is one of the TOP brands in Austria

Last week, the Republic's highest award for Austrian inventors was presented by Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler together with Patent Office President Mariana Karepova.

The State Patent Award shines a spotlight on particularly innovative achievements. It is the highest state award for inventions and brands and was awarded for the fourth time on April 26, 2023. SilentFiber was nominated in the TOP 3 in the category "Brand" and is thus one of the best brands in Austria.

"A great stage for our product", Silent Fiber owner Robert Schwemmer is pleased. "We are very proud that we were able to succeed in the very narrow prize winner environment." He had thrown the SilentFiber brand into the race for the prestigious prize. Together with Julia Steinegger, Synthesa product manager for the natural acoustic solution, he was able to accept the nomination certificate from the hands of Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler and Patent Office President Mariana Karepova. The award ceremony took place in the elegant Sofiensäle in Vienna. "The process was very exciting! Even more interesting were the many creative submissions that were presented here," Julia Steinegger is enthusiastic.

"We urgently need innovations that address and solve the problems of our time. Many of the ideas awarded today make an important contribution to a climate-friendly future for us all," emphasized Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler.

More than 200 submissions to the Austrian Patent Award are a good testimony to the inventive power of Austrians. The winners were: Vienna University of Technology in the "Patent 2023" category, the Wave Studios recording studio with its "Brand 2023" and the space company Beyond Gravity Austria GmbH in the special "Space" category.

How did the "SilentFiber" logo come about?

We developed the SilentFiber logo together with the Master Class Design of the HTL 1 in Linz.

It consists of a typographic and a graphic part. SilentFiber combines the silence (SILENT) that we give to our customers with the natural fibers (FIBER) that we use for our products.

The loops next to it originate from an architectural hatching. It symbolizes insulation materials - in our case acoustic insulation materials.
