Acoustic panels - Flame retardant

Hemp acoustic panel:

The hemp acoustic panel consists of three components:

• Hemp straw
• Bico binding fiber
• Flame retardant

A salt is used as a flame retardant. This ammonium phosphate has food approval and is also used, for example, in baking powder. The flame retardant is applied in a very small quantity in a patented process. The proportion in the finished sound insulation panel is less than 1 %.
